WTMusic: To The Future With Ronnie Atkins of Pretty Maids

Pretty Maids have arguably been Denmark’s #1 hard rock export for over 35 years, and that’s why the We Talk Music podcast is ecstatic to welcome their lead singer Ronnie Atkins on the show.

In 1987 the band released what many consider to be their seminal album, Future World. They then celebrated with a massive and well regarded anniversary tour for the album’s 30th year. Now, three years after it’s recording, the live performance of that show is available on Blu-Ray as well as in audio format as PRETTY MAIDS – Maid In Japan – Future World Live 30th Anniversary.

Get all the info you need on what’s up with the album and more from WTM and Ronnie Atkins, such as:

Pretty Maids Future World original album cover

– What Future World has meant to the band

– Recording in Japan and how they’d like to get back to North America

– The evolution of Pretty Maids from Future World to their latest album

– Ronnie’s relationship with Ken Hammer and having new blood in the band

– Ronnie’s cancer and where he is at vocally

– Whether they would consider doing an anniversary tour for any other albums

We’re really happy to be able to bring you this one, and we hope you enjoy.
