James Durbin is blessed to have been given a voice like some sort of power metal angel. And now, through the support of Frontier Music, James is finally singing the type of medieval influenced songs he’s always wanted to do.

James Durbin first burst onto the scene on American Idol, finishing in 4th place in season 10. Since then he has also been the lead singer for the legendary hard rock band Quiet Riot. Now he releases his latest project, “The Beast Awakens“, which harkens back to the great albums of the past by Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.

On top of that, James is a great interview because he’s freakin’ hilarious, making this podcast a great listen. Check it out!
