WTMusic Interview: Vince Dennis of Steel Prophet

We Talk Music is back and is joined by Vince Dennis (aka Vincent Price), bassist for the bands Steel Prophet and Body Count, for a great interview.

Vince Dennis has been Steel Prophet‘s bassist for most of the last 3 decades. That means he’s seen a lot of action between that and his other gigs, like being the current bassist for the Ice T fronted Body Count. Vince is also a prominent guitar tech to some of the top names in music.

Brett talks to Vince about the new Steel Prophet album, The God Machine, coming April 26th from Rock of Angels Records. There’s also a host of other topics including:

  • What it’s like with constantly changing band members
  • When he got kicked out of Steel Prophet
  • Songwriting and bass tips
  • Preparation for a show
  • What goes in to being a guitar tech
  • The interaction between the bassist and the drummer
  • The difference between Steel Prophet and Body Count
  • Record labels and Rock of Angels Records
  • The recording of Carnivore with Body Count
  • High on Life Superfoods
