WTComics Podcast #194: Clean It Up!

We know what you’re thinking. The show is titled Clean It Up, so we’re going to talk about comics that are gratuitous for no reason? Or maybe we’re gonna decide to clean up our own act and make a kinder, friendlier, more G rated podcast.

Well the answers are NO! And the other answer is NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

So what is clean it up? Well, it’s one of our favourite things… Lost audio!

That’s right, we’ve managed to recover some lost audio for this episode and a future one we think you’re going to enjoy. This one comes from the Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo featuring some funny stories that happened to us up there, seeing and hearing Gene Simmons, general thoughts and more.

Also, we have a couple of quick scrum interviews with actors we took part in during the 2017 convention, Jodelle Ferland of Dark Matter and Silent Hill fame, as well as two of the cast of the popular TV show Supernatural, Adam FergusDavid Haydn-Jones.

And we also have most of the audio of one of our favourite Expo experiences we put on whenever we can, it’s the return of the reading of scripts from unproduced Hollywood movies. We have for you the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sgt. Rock, Nic Cage Superman, James Cameron Spider-Man and Robert Smigel/Jack Black Green Lantern. And of course in addition to your regular WTC hosts we have special guests taking part including Alexander Finbow and Jeff Martin from Renegade Arts Entertainment, 2 wonderful members of the Panel One Comic Creator Society Ashley-Nicole Hartley and Mallory Lyness, and the force of nature that is the one and only Stephanie Chan.

An absolute blast so check it out everybody, and help us clean it up!
