To say that Tommy Davidson has had a fascinating life is an understatement. Abandoned by his birth mother at 18 months in the trash and found by what would go on to be his adoptive mother, an Anglo woman, Tommy spent his youth moving with his new family to various locals largely within the Maryland area.
He used these experiences to foster a stand up comedy career that eventually led him to burst on to the national scene as a cast member of the legendary sketch comedy series In Living Color. He has since gone on to act, do voice over work and write an autobiography titled Living In Color. But even with all these endeavors, music has always been a major part of Tommy Davidson’s life.
Blessed with a powerful but beautiful singing voice, recent times have seen Tommy drop singles in the soul music genre, allowing him to work with other talented musicians and express this side of his personality. Join us for this Discussion with Tommy Davidson as we explore the unique perspectives that fuel his musical choices in a terrific interview, and as always spread the word if you like what you hear!
