How do you make great music? Well, one of the best ways is to start with having supremely talented musicians in the band, so for Blackbird Angels step 1 is complete. That’s because the group is made up of Traci Guns (L.A. Guns, Brides of Destruction), Alex Hamilton and Canada’s own Todd “Damnit” Kerns (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, The Age of Electric).

This amazing collective has a terrific debut album out now called Solsorte and it’s a much listen for those fans of good, old fashion, solid rock n’ roll done by some of the best in the business.

Another must listen though is this episode of the We Talk Music podcast as Todd Kerns is the guest and he’s one of the smartest and most well spoken men in the business, and his love of music is contagious as he talks about his journey through a remarkable career, the highs and lows and what it takes to make it.
