One of the most recognizable faces in the Canadian Football League, Michael “Pinball” Clemons has the unique distinction of running for more yards than any player in pro football history. He also has the exclusive honor of being the first Black head coach to win the esteemed Grey Cup. Winning six championships throughout his career in various roles, he continues this pursuit as the current General Manager of the Toronto Argonauts Football Club. With an extensive resume, Pinball has already earned himself a spot as a member of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame and the CFL Hall of Fame.
Diane and Michael co-founded the Pinball Clemons Foundation and have raised more than $17 million for marginalized youth. They are proud recipients of The Meritorious Service Medal awarded by Her Majesty the Queen of Canada and the Governor General of Canada for their work empowering youth through education and mentorship and moving them from the margins to the mainstream. PCF has built more than 200 classrooms in developing countries and currently works locally, in the Greater Toronto Area, to provide career opportunities to marginalized youth.
