Whitesnake guitarist Joel Hoekstra has one of the most interesting backstories in the history of the We Talk Music podcast. A portrait of persistence, he grinded for years to earn his big break. This has led to him now being one of the most respected hands in the industry.

Now he’s back with the 2nd album from his project Joel Hoekstra’s 13 titled “Running Games“, and he’s brought some very talented friends with him. Surrounded by Russell Allen (vocals), Tony Franklin (bass), Vinny Appice (drums), Derek Sherinian (keyboards) and Jeff Scott Soto (backing vocals), it’s a hard rock tour de force for the ears you need to check out.
