Ron Keel of course has long been a favourite of WTM hosts Brett and Mo, which is why they loved being able to talk to the man for 100 minutes.

To call Ron Keel a force of nature wouldm’t be doing him service, as that’s just not a strong enough description for him. Listening to the singer is like being under a learning tree from a man with more than ten lifetimes worth of experiences. He’s extremely passionate about everything he does, and obviously that extends to the new Ron Keel Band album South X South Dakota.

It’s great as he explains how the album came to be, but he also gives us a bunch of stories from back in the day when Keel was making it’s mark on the charts and being produced by the legendary Gene Simmons.

So do yourself a favour and set yourself a good chunk of time to absorb this interview. It’s just as awesome as he is.
