Marc is the musical director for Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul, and as a solo artist has previously released the albums This Life in 2008 and Life Is But A Dream in 2003. Now he’s released his new single Shattered in anticipation of his upcoming new LP, which is produced by himself and Steven Van Zandt.

In this excellent chat we break deep into Marc’s songwriting philosophy, improvising vs writing guitar solos, the brotherhood of the musicians from Asbury Park in New Jersey, and what exactly the role of a musical director is.
