Just how cool is it to get to talk to an emerging superstar on the verge of a great career like Windsor, Ontario’s Kelsi Mayne?

A small town Canadian girl with world class talent, Kelsi represents the mix of dedication and ability it takes to make it in the music industry.

She joins the We Talk Music to talk about her journey and how it’s lead up to the soon to be released full length album “As I Go”.

From her early on stage experiences as a dancer to her years running track competitively to her 3rd place finish in SiriusXM’s Top of the Country contest, Kelsi Mayne has been collecting the type of valuable life experiences it takes to be a force in the industry.

Kelsi tells us all about her roots listening to music from Detroit growing up and how great it is that modern country music allows her to explore all types of genres. We also get great insight into how and why she travels to Nashville and her learning from the great songwriters down there.

And we also get a great story about the TikTok explosion that clips from the title track from her album, “As I Go” has generated.

The most impressive thing about Kelsi Mayne though just might be her humble attitude and appreciation for her fans and their support.
