What a career Joey Sykes has had.
Joey is a songwriter/guitarist/singer who’s career has lasted more than three decades. Since 2013 he’s played with The Baby’s, whose songs Isn’t It Time and Every Time I Think of You remain radio staples. In the 80’s Joey played with Boystown, and he was with Coward in the 90’s. Joey has also played lead guitar for Meredith Brooks, whose hit song Bitch led to Joey taking part in major music events and television appearances. Joey Sykes composed songs have also been played on television and in motion picture. You can check out those works in Daddy Day Care, Ghost Whisperer and Gossip Girl among others. And In addition to his current gig with The Baby’s, Joey Sykes has a country band with a rock infused sound called Honey River.
Joey has recently released a song called Let’s Get Through This, an uplifting song made as a message to the world during the Coronavirus outbreak. He tells us about the song’s conception and music video. Joey Sykes also goes over how to get songs placed in Hollywood and playing Madison Square Gardens. Check it out.
