With so much excellent music coming out this year it’s easy to let something slip under your radar but don’t worry, We Talk Music always has you back. And it’s for that reason that we were ecstatic to have the chance to talk to The MAD, lead singer of Ginger Red.

Ginger Red is a German band that mixes melodic tunes with heavy riffs and an 80’s sensibility to create something totally unique you should definitely check out. They debuted in 2010 with an album called Hard as a Rock, but now it’s 2018, they have a new singer and a new album that outdoes the original in almost every way called Donuts and Coffee.

The MAD gives us her secret origin in joining the band and the the creation of it, the bands favourite songs, German Donuts, Coffee, and of course Beer, and how much fun it is to shoot music videos. Plus she reveals the group’s secret philosophy that would keep your We Talk Music hosts Brett and Mo out of the band… Listen to find out what it is!
