30 years ago Tesla released their cutting edge album Five Man Acoustical Jam to great commercial and critical success. In celebration of that album Tesla has released Five Man London Jam in tribute to the original, With it singer Jeff Keith and the rest of the band prove they are undoubtedly still one of the greatest live acts on the planet.

It’s always great fun when you have someone like Jeff Keith on the air. His enthusiasm for music comes through in every moment. He may suddenly just start singing in the middle of the interview, like perhaps some of the more obscure songs by Aerosmith that he lists among his favourites.

It’s this type of moment with Jeff that makes this podcast so special. As he explains the recording of Five Man London Jam, the song choices, and the freedom the band will have playing a new set every night when they can tour for it, the spirit of Jeff Keith shines. It comes through the way only a true music lovers could.
