Firewind has a brand new self titled album out and that seemed like a great excuse to bring guitarist Gus G back on the show.

Previously a guest to talk about the solo album Fearless, it’s a true pleasure to have Gus G back. Not only is Gus one of the best guitarists working in music but he’s easy to talk to and a great podcast guest.

Gus tells us all about his decision to bring Firewind back and how difficult it was. He also gives us an update on why he believes he has more musically to say with the band, and the different scratches he itches doing solo albums.

There’s talk of the long journey Firewind has had over two decades, and the bands formation when Gus was still a teenager.

We also going to depth on the songs on the new album and their creation. Gus also tells us about some of his personal favourite no voices (Instrumental) records.
