I bet you’re wondering to yourself, does the fun ever stop on the We Talk Music podcast? The answer is simply no. Not when you have guests like Peter Argyropoulos stopping to chat about Sons of Silver.

Know for his time as Pete RG with that self named band, Peter Argyropoulos has morphed into being the lead singer now for the his new band Sons of Silver. Peter shares with us exactly how this happened and highlights the differences between the two bands.

From there the talk breaks into a wide variety of topics. From writing as a group instead of solo, to the groove the band has in songs like World of Fire, to the bond the group has formed Peter tells all.

There’s much more on the show though. Peter Argyropoulos breaks down on the members and highlights the contributions of Dave Krusen, known well for his time as Pearl Jam’s first drummer. Peter also has lots of thoughts on the musical climate. You can learn about this as he talks working on an EP, how music is consumed and listened to, and his thoughts on releasing singles. This is a fun and interesting discussion, and includes him telling a story of how he and his wife / keyboardist Brina Kabler can have disagreements about what they listen to in the house.

This is your usual We Talk Music episode, in that it’s awesome. But it’s unusual in that it’s Peter Argyropoulos first visit on the show, so you’ll want to check it out.
