Ah, the 80’s. Wild fashion and sound. Big hair. Hoop earrings. Reverb in the vocals and synthesizers in the music, it was a magical time, and for many Stan Bush’s signature sound represents the best of the decade.
Stan Bush is a popular singer-songwriter and musician whose songs “The Touch” and “Dare” have led to him being inducted into Hasbro’s Transformers Hall of Fame. In addition Stan’s music has been featured prominently in movies and television including “She’s Got the Power” for Sailor Moon, “Never Surrender,” “Streets of Siam,” and “Fight for Love” from Kickboxer, as well as “Fight to Survive” and “On My Own – Alone” from Bloodsport.
Stan Bush has a new song out called “The 80’s” that celebrates the decade that was and to prime the audience for a new album hoping to release before the end of the year. We proudly welcome here at the We Talk Music podcast onto the show to talk about the song, the inspiration, the past and the future. A great time with a guy who could also make the Nice Guy Hall of Fame. Enjoy!
