We generally try and keep a light tone on the We Talk Music podcast, bit sometimes world events take that option away from you, and it’s time to talk about bigger issues. It’s for that reason that we are so happy to be able to present this interview with Oceans of Slumber lead singer Cammie Gilbert for an honest talk on her experiences with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Oceans of Slumber will release their 5th studio album on September 4th, 2020. The self titled record is sure to once again bring great critical acclaim to the band, led largely by Cammie’s unique and powerful singing. Though recorded well before the recent events that have opened eyes worldwide, the songs are incredibly relevant for our times.
