The latest We Talk Comics has another great chat as hosts Brett, Chris and Mo talk to the iconic and engaging Fabien Nicieza.
Fabien doesn’t ever hold back and this interview is no different as he shares incredible stories from the very first time he ever met Stan Lee to the incredible pranks that used to be part of the Marvel Bullpen to memories of the great Mark Gruenwald.
Fabien Nicieza’s not shy of opinions like why a change was needed from Jim Shooter to Tom DeFalco when it was or how the bankruptcy of Marvel in the late 90’s wasn’t what was presented to the public, and why it means he can’t watch an Ellen Barkin movie. Plus he almost remembers the answer to a question that’s been bugging Mo forever about his time as Editor in Chief of the V2 Valiant Universe from Acclaim Comics… Almost.
And get the inside scoop about why he felt the backlash to Marvel announcing the publication of a book he was going to write for defense contractor Northrop Grumman was unwarranted.
This show is a great big ball of fun especially if you’re an old school Marvel fan so give it a shot and tell your friends, because Fabien Nicieza is on WTC!
