Hello, it’s Ghastly Mo and for my birthday we’re putting up a new episode of We Talk Comics for Halloween focusing in on horror comic books from past to present called WTC Show 12 – Geekhouse of Horror. Join Spooky Brett, Ghoulish Keith, Creepy Chris & myself as we bring the scares talking about: The back story for EC Comics and Bill Gaines led by our own horror expert Chris. This also leads to a chance to talk a little more about  Seduction of the Innocent and the history of censorship in comics since that’s tied in so directly to horror books. We then talk about the changing horror market over the years leading up to current horror books, their place in today’s market and what we think the future holds, as well as the first horror books we can remember reading and look back at what they meant to us. Then we throw out all our favorite horror stories in kind of a similar fashion to how we did the death books, one person going at a time. Finally we review 3 independent books kind enough to have been sent to us: Die Byron Die, Comic Book Junkie, and Runners.
