We Talk Music has another fantastic episode for you as we chat with Mike Mostert about his GoGo Tuner Family project.

Mike is an accomplished guitarist who cut his teeth playing hard rock with bands such as Bigg Mouth. He would later go on to found the The GoGo Tuner and sell such products as The GoGo Caliber Pedal Tuner to musicians around the world.

As Mike explains in the show when he was asked if he still had any desire to play it lit a fire under him. This led to him getting in touch with musicians using his product to create a unique complication album.

A mix of many different musical genres, and recorded at the legendary Muscle Shores Studio, we learn the thinking behind all the songs on the GoGo Tuner Family album.

There’s lots to dig into on how and why this album was put together, and Mike Mostert is a fascinating storyteller, which is why what he shared right at the end is so much extra fun.

In his time in the music industry he met and hung out with a bunch of amazing stars, such as Lemmy Kilmister. That’s right, a Lemmy story! And has there ever been a bad one of those?
